More About Painting Glory, and the Beauty of Telling Stories with Pictures

Hello!  I desire Painting Glory to be a testimony of what is glorious and good, as well as a personal look into one artist’s life.

Every work of art has a story behind it – why it was painted, where, and when.  I hope to record some of these aspects to share with you.

I am a fine watercolor artist and illustrator living my own unique adventure.  My work is presently being distributed around the world.  Painting and watercolor instruction has enabled me to visit many interesting places.  In 2009 I was blessed to be a street artist in one of the largest cities in the world.

Previously, for eight years, I instructed hundreds of school children and adults through the skits, songs and stories of CHARACTER FIRST! Education.  I am also a musician, organic vegetable gardener, whole food enthusiast and, after years of living in the beautiful wilderness of Vermont, have gained a strong desire to work and communicate more with people.

I am expanding my artistic endeavors in the near future to include other avenues of expression….as the doors open! =)

A painting is a reflection of life in many ways.  A Masterpiece is often created through great sacrifice.  My Heavenly Father, who created the world, is the best artist of all.  His word says that the heavens declare His glory, and the firmament shows His handiwork.  It is this glory that I desire to emulate through my work.  He deserves all glory, honor and praise for the sacrifice made by His Son, Christ the LORD, in dying on behalf of others, giving His perfectly righteous life so that, believing and calling upon His Name, we could live forever.  “For whosover shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”Romans 10:13  This is the promise Yahweh has given and He is completely dependable, He never breaks His promises!

The main purpose of my life, the entire reason for my existence, is to worship Him in all that I do, to see and share the light of His great Wonders!  Glory for self is fleeting, but the LORD raises up those who are bowed down.  This is why I am an artist…
